How does speed affect my TZ Score?
The TargetZero score reflects driver behaviour over time rather than single events. Individual trips have limited impact on the overall score. Drivers can contest inaccuracies by contacting helpdesk.
TargetZero score is a trend of driver behaviour and not focused primarily on a single event in a trip. It serves as a comprehensive reflection of how a driver operates over time, rather than a snapshot of isolated incidents. While an individual trip score may be influenced by specific factors such as speed data, it is essential to understand that these singular events have only a limited effect on the overall aggregate TargetZero trend score. This means that occasional deviations from ideal driving behaviour do not drastically alter a driver's long-term performance metrics.
Drivers have the opportunity to contest any perceived inaccuracies regarding speed limits that may affect their scores. If you believe a speed limit was incorrectly recorded or wish to dispute a specific event, you can have your dataset reviewed and updated accordingly.
To initiate this process, please contact our helpdesk. Create a support ticket or email support@fleetconnect.com.au providing the trip Time and Date and location of the incorrect posted speed data.
Be sure to include the vehicle registration number (Rego), along with the time and date of the event in question. By providing this information, we can investigate your claim effectively and ensure that your driving record accurately reflects your behaviour on the road.
