The posted speed limit is incorrect.

Sometimes, due to changes in the data within the map, the speed segment may be incorrect. This is perfectly normal, as speed zones change frequently, and the map updates always lag behind changes in the real world.

GPSi have partnered with HERE Map as our primary mapping provider.  HERE are leaders in global geospatial technology and their technology is used in the majority of autonomous vehicles and navigation software.

Speed Limit input comes from a variety of sources which include government and council data, commercial datasets, probe & sensor data, data collected by HERE True collection fleet, changes detected via media monitoring and partner updates.

GPSi updates the mapping dataset quarterly and if a speed limit is incorrect we can overwrite that segment of data with our own speed variation. If a driver needs to contest a speed limit and have the dataset updated. Please create a support ticket providing the trip Time and Date and location of the incorrect posted speed data.  The provision of other information to substantiate the the claim for contesting the speed amendment may also be required.
